There are a lot of things that claim they help...like Palmer's Tummy Butter...I bought a few things and used 'em religiously but I've still ended up looking like a cat's scratching post. Guess it's one of the prices you pay for your little pumpkin.
In our birthing class the lady said that it all depends on your skins elasticity, so some people, myself included are more prone to them. Keep a ton of lotion on either way. With Riley, mine got really itchy, which I thought was normal, & I really had a bad rash on the underside of my belly & had to get a special cream from my doc.
Looking at how deep an purple mine once were I was so sure they would never fade and I was doomed! But, it's only been 4-ish months and they're already starting to be way less vibrant so I'm sure eventually they'll fade pretty well...There is hope!
I was religious about putting on olive oil, yes pure olive oil you use for cooking and I used cocoa butter and a lotion called Renew you get from jason's work. I was constantly lathered up when I was pregnant with Sydney and I didn't get the deep big purple ones. I know olive oil is a pain but honestly I think that helped the most. Just stay lathered all the time with something it helps with the itching too.

um, t, it's a lost cause. But lotion up a lot! There's some lotions that say they help. I bought them all, and they don't seem to work. Sorry.

Stretch marks do fade, no longer pink, just the color of your skin, but they are still there. I heard that vitamin E oil works.....
