This year I would really like to try my luck at some garage sales. I'm searching for some good outside toys for Jack. Like a crazy coupe type car and a slide.
I've been to garage sales all of like 2 times.
So whats your tricks? When and where do I know when to go? Do you barter? Anyone want someone to tag along??

you need to come to utah. In Pleasant Grove I went and got clothes thatw ere brand name and new for $1. They have higher class nicer things for less.
Early in the morning. By 9 most have been looked thru. Also totally barter but don't take advantage and the coupe we learned is to small. We went to get Carter one and his little legs were so scrunched up. I was so sad I should have gotten one when he turned 1 not 2 and he is small for his age. Look into it before you buy. Don't take Jack with you. You need all the hands and time you can get.
Always go early!! And yes you can barter the reason they are having a garage sale is to get rid of it and they will usually take whatever you offer!! I am also going to try my luck at some garage sales this summer!!
